One of our associates Sonny Kwan Real Estate catches the Google Mobile running the streets of seattle. Google Maps Street view has become an important tool when view the neighborhood before buying or selling your home in today’s real estate market.
Google Street View is a technology featured in Google Maps and Google Earth that provides panoramic views from various positions along many streets in the world. It was launched on May 25, 2007, originally only in several cities in the United States, and has since gradually expanded to include more cities and rural areas worldwide.
As you can see the mobile is hooked up with the latest technology scanning the streets for a 360 degree view and allowing GPS units to scan the view from the front of the vehicle. One day if you see some side streets not accessible by car, like pedestrian areas, narrow streets you may find a Goolge Trikes (tricycles) or a snow mobile for ski resorts and rural areas.
Personally I think it is so essential in my business and becoming more efficient with my time to be able to review the street without having to go out and drive to the location of a potential real estate investment.
