The Morgan Junction Community Festival is the best little neighborhood festival in Seattle.
Join your neighbors for a day and enjoy all the community has to offer!
Vendors, Music, Food and Children’s Activities
Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 25th, 2011 from 10:30am to 7pm!
The festival will take place around the Morgan Junction Park located just north of the
intersection of California Avenue SW and Fauntleroy Avenue SW in West Seattle (6413 California Ave
SW, 98136) and will feature 40 local vendor booths, live music throughout the day, the “Bite of Morgan”
and children’s activities.
Local vendor booths in the parking lot behind Zeeks Pizza will feature an array of West Seattle
businesses and community groups. Live music throughout the day on the main stage next to Beveridge
Place Pub will include exciting performances by Alan Ehrlich, Burley Mountain, and the Tongan Choir
from the Seaview Methodist Church.
Full line up can be found here.
And the “Bite of Morgan” is back again!
Make sure to pick up your free coupon book at the MoCA booth
before heading out in the business district to grab a “bite”.
If the bite doesn’t fill
you up, Thirftway will be offering a BBQ lunch, with all proceeds going to next year’s festival.
Children’s activities in the Morgan Junction Park will feature a performance by the Bubble Man, face
painting, chalk art contests and play time sponsored by Morgan Junction’s Little Gym.
The Morgan Community Association (MoCA) is a grassroots association of residents, business persons,
property owners and other people who have a stake in the future of the Morgan Junction
neighborhood. Our primary purpose is to make the Morgan Junction a better place to live, work, shop
and enjoy. You can find us at www.morganjunction.org or on Facebook.
