Cleveland High School students took home four awards at the 11th Student Biotech Expo May 24.
“The expo is the culmination of an innovative, yearlong science education outreach program,” according to Seattle Public Schools. “It engages more than 300 area high school students from 22 schools in real-world applications of new frontiers in biology and builds connections between students, teachers and scientists.”
Students can create art, music, literature or theater projects, career studies, molecular models, teaching plans, research projects and more for the regional science fair-style event.
