Bellevue is stepping up with their chinese food selection. This weekend we went to check out this buzz going on at Bellevue’s Lincoln Square. Their new addition Din Tai Fung Chinese Restaurant. Franchised widely in Asia since 1958, Din Tai Fung and its steamed dumplings are bundles of dumpling joy. Make sure your party is ready to be seated the wait for a table here can be 15 minutes to a couple of hours on the weekend, even though the restaurant can seat 220. Try visiting on off-peak hours.
Photos above will share with you won ton soup, baby bok choy with garlic and won ton shrimp and pork shao mai as one of the many steamed dishes they serve. Missed out on the pictures of the fried noodles, because my family ate it all before I could take a photo. Really good also add the fried rice to your order, fluffy with scrambled egg mixed in with shrimp or pork.
Price ranges from $8.50 – $11.00 a plate if your going with a big family be prepared to order a lot and pay up. Your paying for the location. The environment is nice and location is very nice. The location is a bit loud so if your looking for a quiet dinner not a chance. Its interesting to see the workers in the front window working away rolling the dumplings for the kids its interesting to take a look at how they roll the dumplings, well really even adults take the time to watch while they wait for a table.
