For Sale Signs and Directional Signs A Do or Don’t?

Some Home sellers have a fear of placing for sale signs on their home because they don’t want anyone trying to knock on the door and inquire with in.

We had a client that was with another agent and with no signs the home did not sell after a few months.

Even if your home is not on a busy street, signs are even more important. Signs are one of the best ways to attract buyers. There are other buyers who are driving through your area looking for homes.

If you are concerned you can also put up a sign that says By Appointment only.

If you plan to sell your home on your own, make sure you have a professional sign installed in your yard. You want to convey to potential buyers that you are experienced.

A generic yellow sign from home depot may look like unprofessional and they may want to try to negotiate with you even more.

It may also look like you are not serious about selling your home. You can find a professional sign company that can create a sign at a low cost.

Directional Signs

Directional signs can help by leading buyers to your home. Buyers who are driving around an area looking for homes will follow these little arrows and lead them to your home.

Warning if you place them in front of someone elses home they may take them out of his or hers yard and throw it away.

Make sure you have permission or ask them if you can place them in a place that is not in the way.

This is a good way to network with the neighbors that your home is up for sale or your realtor can do it as well.
