Pacific Science Center is thrilled to present Freddy’s Mondays, made possible by the Fred Meyer Fund. Starting in October, the first 1,000 guests to come through our gates on the first Monday of the month will be let in FREE* (offer valid for onsite transactions only). Through April of 2011, explore all of the permanent exhibits under the arches from the Tropical Butterfly House to Science On a Sphere. This opportunity to visit Pacific Science Center free of charge is one way Fred Meyer gives back to the community and we hope you’ll take advantage of it.

The Fred Meyer Fund is presenting Freddy’s Mondays as well as generously providing additional gifts to Pacific Science Center. Their donation will support our School Group Assistance Fund, which offers field trip assistance for schools within Washington state with a high percentage of students on the federal free and reduced-price meal program. Additionally, the Fred Meyer Fund recently awarded Pacific Science Center a $30,000 gift for Science On Wheels subsidies, enabling more school children in the Tacoma area to experience this dynamic outreach program. It’s a wonderful way Fred Meyer is giving back to the community.
