A Memorial Day Weekend tradition in Seattle, the tournament features some of city’s top basketball talent playing to promote non-violence in honor of Rahsaan Phillips, a popular Central District barber and Garfield Community Center volunteer who was a victim of gun violence at the age of 25. The three day tournament features players from around the city, including NBA players such as Nate Robinson, Brandon Roy, Shawn Kemp, Jamal Crawford, Terrence Williams, Aaron Brooks, Martell Webster and Spencer Hawes. Money raised from the event is donated to charitable causes.
