I will be the commencement Speaker at Highline Puget Sound Skill Center Graduation this morning. I’m excited to be invited to this event. These kids deserve an extra pat on the back the come from all types of backgrounds just like where I came from. Some of them have parents in jail, some come from areas that people are not counting on them to graduate or go to college. My talk will be ” Your Past Does not Equal the Future”. I have a sweet spot for these kids because it reminds me of where I came from. I hope to inspire them to keep going and know that anything is possible.
