Seattle Tilth is a nationally recognized non-profit educational organization dedicated to inspiring and educating people to garden organically and conserve natural resources.
They are looking for Volunteers and Companies to participate in work parties to expand this new garden. They are scheduled on weekends starting July 31.
We will meet in the Rainier Beach Learning Garden behind the South Shore School and Rainier Beach Community Center. If you drive, park at the school. There is a playground within sight of the garden, which can be helpful for parents bringing kids. Get directions.
